The Hague Workshop

November 17-18, 2022



Co-hosted with the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT), this two-day workshop in The Hague convened more than 30 representatives from the United Nations (UN), Member States, national governments, civil society, academia, and international organizations.

This workshop focused on operationalizing the recommendations in the the SFI report, Counterterrorism and the United Nations Since 9/11: Moving Beyond the 2001 Paradigm, and strengthening partnerships with regional and local stakeholders as well as intergovernmental bodies. It followed a series of global and virtual SFI-hosted discussions aimed at capturing a diversity of global perspectives on roles and impacts of the past and future role of the Council on counterterrorism.
